Star Power Performing Arts

This local children’s musical theatre school takes to the stage (12.00pm & 1.30pm) to entertain you with some of your favourite show tunes. From classic musicals such as the Sound of Music to modern hits from Wicked , we’re sure you’ll leave feeling entertained. This performance features students from our Uddingston (Wednesday evening) and Ferniegair (Monday evening) academies. Star Power currently has limited availability for new student registration. Drever Guitar School
2.30pm – 3.10pm
Drever Guitar School students will perform (2.30pm) some classic and well-known tunes from years gone by, including some Blues, Rock, Pop and Country influences. The set will include some group performances and maybe even a wee solo appearance or two. Sure to have your feet tapping! From beginners to advanced. Get in touch.

CMDance Academy
1.00pm – 1.30pm
CMDance Academy is celebrating its 14th anniversary this year. We teach children from 3 years+ and specialise in creating a fun, nurturing environment, allowing all of our pupils to flourish in their own way. Our teachers have extensive experience teaching dance, are fully qualified, insured and have been performers themselves. We are non-competitive but we create performance opportunities for our pupils like our Annual Show at Rutherglen Townhall & outdoor events such as Bothwell Scarecrow Festival and Uddingston Pride Christmas Fair. As members of the B.A.T.D. we can offer exams for our pupils if they wish to take part. Gillybean Theatre School

Gillybean Theatre School is a musical theatre school for young people aged from 18 months to 18 years who enjoy performing.
Classes are held at Motherwell South Parish Church, 11 Gavin Street, Motherwell, ML1 2RL

Tots Class – this class is aimed at pre-school kids from 18 months to 5 year old. Classes run on a Thursday from 1pm-1:40pm at United Reform Church Hall, South Park Street, Hamilton.
All abilities are welcome.
Prime Dance Scotland

Prime Dance Scotland was established in 2018 by Cally Mckeirnan and has been thriving ever since. We have grown into the most amazing dance family with dancers from various schools in our local community. Elen Brandão Dance School

Elen Brandão Dance School was founded 16 years ago by Brazilian dance teacher, choreographer and artistic director Elen Brandão van Weegen.
Teaching Excellence in Ballet & Jazz Dancing. Based in Bothwell, Elen Brandão Dance School offers Ballet and Jazz classes for children from 3 years old onwards.
At our school we follow the BATD syllabus for ballet and jazz classes. Our teaching style is to give the students an environment in which they can have fun, be creative, express their emotions, while always focusing on excellent dance technique.

Maureen Laughlin & Nadia Brown School of Dance
3.30pm – 4.00pm
Boys and Girls are enrolled and trained to a professional standard in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop and Street Dance. We hold ISTD exams twice a year which are not compulsory but are held for all who attain the required standard to be entered. Although our classes are run to a professional standard our aim is always to have fun and a great time at dancing! All pupils will have the opportunity to perform in our end of year display and also take part in the many dance events we are involved in every year.
Many of our pupils have achieved places with Scottish Ballet Junior and Mid-Associate Scheme, Knightswood Dance School of Scotland, Motherwell and Reid Kerr College for performing Arts. Our classes run 6 days a week which means there is a day and time to suit everyone. We also run Adult classes in Ballet, Jazz and Tap.
